Oddsocks take a break and introduce Felix M-B!
Oddsocks is taking a break from uploading past productions to their YouTube Channel this Friday to introduce exciting singer songwriter Felix M-B to their online audience.
Felix, who is the son of Andy and Elli the directors of Oddsocks has been writing songs since he was just seventeen. He is now twenty two and has built quite a reputation for himself having toured across the UK, Ireland and U.S with the likes of Lorkin O'Reilly, Lemoncello and Alice Robbins. He's appeared at the Wilderness Festival and at the hugely popular Splendour Festival in Nottingham with his band Megatrain. He well known in the music circuit of Nottingham and has appeared many times on BBC Introducing playing his original tracks live. Brought up in a theatrical household the UK from the age of eighteen months with his parents who were appearing on stage every evening was bound to affect the growing boy. "He was either going to shun it all and become an accountant, or want to work within the creative industries I guess" says proud mum Elli Creative Producer of Oddsocks Productions. " Our performances always involve live music and Felix was fascinated from the start. He would mimic the actors playing their instruments and they were very kind and often spent time helping him have a go on a mandolin or guitar." Artistic Director, Dad Andy adds "He could sing in latin almost before he could talk! We are very proud and like to think of him as, not just our son, but as our retirement plan".
