Network Meeting Announced + Event Listings + More! At Glossop Creates
After a successful creative network meeting back in September 2021, Glossop Creates has announced the date and venue for the Spring 2022 meeting - which, for the first time, will bring together the creative, food and music networks in one room.
The meeting will provide a platform for the Glossop Creates team and friends to update the community about the latest news and views from all aspects of the town’s independent and creative community, and provide a space for people and businesses to talk, collaborate and share ideas.
The network meeting will take place on 26th May, 7pm at The Oakwood.

This event is aimed at creative and cultural practitioners, freelancers and SMEs based in the High Peak and Derbyshire Dales.
KIN.DER ZINE // ISSUE ONE
So, that pilot edition of the zine went pretty damn well it seems, and so we decided to make a bunch more! Honestly we had no idea if people would respond to it and find it worthwhile but it was something we wanted to do as a collective regardless, dipping our toes into the murky waters of self publishing, what could go wrong?!
MAINFRAME AWARDS SHORTLIST!
The Glossop Creates team got their glad rags on for a creative awards ceremony in Derby, where the campaign was up for an award in the Best Creative and Digital startup category.
Mainframe is an initiative that aims to bring together a community of digital and creative business across Derbyshire, enabling real business growth, and the awards celebrate the sector within the county.
It was one of just three regional initiatives to be nominated in the category – a huge accolade for the team and Glossop’s wider creative community, which has come together to collaborate and support Glossop Creates’ campaigns since December 2020.
