MARKEATON PARK AWARDED PRESTIGIOUS VISITOR ATTRACTION CERTIFICATE
In Derby is pleased to announce that Markeaton Park has been awarded TripAdvisor 2017 Certificate of Excellence based on the consistently great reviews earned by the park.
Derby’s most visited park currently has a 4.5 (out of 5) star rating on TripAdvisor gained from over 170 visitor reviews, with top comments about the park focusing on the paddling pool and the Craft Village.
TripAdvisor awards are bestowed based on reviews left on the popular travel site by visitors to an attraction. Venues earning the Certificate of Excellence are located all over the world and have continually delivered a superior customer experience.
Markeaton Park is one of the most popular parks in the East Midlands, attracting more than one million visitors each year. As well as a wealth of historic features, the award winning park has many sport and leisure activities such as cycling, pitch and putt, rowing boats and pedalos, fishing and court activities. Thanks to Lottery Funding, the Munday Play Centre was recently updated with many new features to keep children safely entertained and attractions such as the Adventure Hub, an impressive high ropes course, have been added.
