Live & Local ENCORE: We're back!

Live & Local ENCORE: We're back!

Welcome to the new and improved Encore - quarterly updates from Live & Local with organisational news and updates and the latest from the Rural and Community Touring scheme.

The team are thrilled to announce that their shows will start again from October 2021, and they can't wait to get into the swing of things again!

Welcoming audiences safely

The Live & Local team have been closely following the updates to government guidelines and regulations throughout the pandemic and are continuing to provide a network of promoters with advice on how to keep their audiences feeling safe in a post-lockdown world of Rural Touring events.

Get in touch at admin@liveandlocal.org.uk if you have any concerns or would like to talk anything through.

New Website

Live & Local recently announced their new season of shows, starting on 1st October, and alongside that, they've been working hard to prepare for the launch of their brand new website.

The new site will feature improved search functionality for events, an integrated blog and simpler navigation.

The team are very excited to be sharing it with you and launching it soon. In the meantime, you can hit the 'Notify Me' button on an event on the current website to be the first to know when tickets go on sale.

Live & Local's network is growing

After a successful event in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire back in June, Live & Local have had multiple volunteer groups register their interest in joining the Rural and Community Touring scheme as promoters.

The next event, for groups in Leicestershire to find out about joining Live & Local's network, takes place on 21st September.

Reasons to celebrate

  • Getting Arty

In June, the Live & Local team went out with a small budget in search of artwork from local artists in support of Warwickshire Open Studios.

At the Company Away Day in July, the team managed to meet in person (for the first time since October 2020) and share the artwork with each other. The walls of our office never looked so colourful!

  • Keeping it green

Starting on Saturday, we will be celebrating Great Big Green Week. Keep an eye out across our social media and blog to see some wonderful nature-themed projects and discover what we're doing as a company to become more sustainable.
