  • BEAM seeks diverse artist network coordinator

Are you passionate about making the arts more diverse and more accessible to diverse audiences?

We are seeking to appoint a Diverse Artist Network Co-ordinator to kickstart a new project focused on equity, diversity and inclusion.

The Co-ordinator will research, engage and develop a network of diverse organisations and diverse artists at varying career stages to explore the barriers they face in developing their practice in the public art sector.

This work will result in creating a forward plan and fundraising to effectively support and advocate for a more diverse range of artists in the public art sector.

  • Live & Local – Programme Administrator

    £20,092 - 20,903 (subject to experience) pro rata 0.8 FTE (28hrs/week)

    It is an exciting time to work for Live & Local as the company refreshes and reorganises its focus in the wake of the pandemic, delivering both existing and new and innovative strands of work whilst continuing to serve a range of partners, communities and stakeholders.

    The Programme Administrator is part of a team of four in the Business & Operations Department and will provide administrative support for Live & Local’s programme of events including the Community Touring Scheme, Film Schemes and other time-limited projects. You will report to the Company Manager and work alongside the Audience and Artist Engagement teams for some projects.

    The successful candidate will have demonstrable efficient administration skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a range of stakeholders. Previous administration experience in team-based office environment(s) and enthusiasm for the arts is essential.

    This role is offered as a mix of office based and home working within a flexitime contract.

  • Adverse Camber productions is looking for 4 artist-storytellers

    Derbyshire-based Adverse Camber productions is looking for 4 artist-storytellers to join an intergenerational co-creative ensemble in NE Derbyshire for a brand new project!

    Our Stories, Our Places, Our Futures will explore a new co-creative partnership with a specific community in North East Derbyshire and Bolsover. This project, led by Adverse Camber and Junction Arts, brings 16 young people from Bolsover and NE Derbyshire together with 4 professional artists to build an ensemble.

    Adverse Camber welcome applications from storytellers working within the oral tradition, and would also love to see artists with other disciplines apply. Perhaps you are a songwriter, poet or rap artist? Perhaps you tell stories through music, movement, or sound design? Our aim is to build a collaborative ensemble with different skillsets that complement one another.

    The project will run from 25 April – September 2022 with a fee of £4,000 per artist (breakdown is in the brief).

    The deadline for applications is Sunday 10 April 2022, 5pm and interviews will take place online on Wed 13 & Thu 14 April 2022.
