Incredible Autumn Shows at Derby Arena

Autumn is set to be a fabulous season of entertainment at Derby Arena.  Professor Brian Cox OBE kicks off the season when he returns with his Universal World Tour following his previous sell-out fixture in Derby earlier this year. Fans of Tina Turner will be wowed with the spectacular  “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” tribute show and the superb talents of Michael Jackson will be showcased  at the “Michael Starring Ben – the Magic of Michael Jackson” show.

Having set two Guinness World Record titles with his previous sell-out live UK and Ireland tour, Professor Brian Cox OBE is bringing his Universal World Tour back to Derby Arena once again on Tuesday 10 September.  Taking audiences to the edge of our current understanding about the origin and evolution of our Solar System and the Universe, the Universal – World Tour offers a fascinating insight into the workings of nature at the most fundamental level.

On Thursday 17 October, audiences are in for a treat as the hits of Tina Turner fill Derby Arena. From this brand-new touring theatre show, fans can expect a night of high energy, feel-good rock-and-roll featuring Tina’s greatest hits performed by the amazing vocal talent of Elesha Paul Moses (The Voice, X Factor), supported by a full 10-piece live band.  The Derby Arena crowds will enjoy some of Tina's most-loved classic hits including Private Dancer, What's Love Got To Do With It?, Proud Mary, River Deep, Nutbush City Limits, Simply The Best and many more.

Fans of Michael Jackson will enjoy his musical legacy being brought to life on Friday 18 October by “the UK’s ultimate Michael Jackson tribute star”, Ben Bowman; who not only looks and sounds like Michael Jackson, but has honed his routine so impeccably that audiences often feel like are watching Michael Jackson himself.

With an incredible live band, stunning costumes and, iconic dance routines the show features not only the greatest hits of Michael Jackson but also The Jackson 5. Hits include Thriller, Beat It, Billie Jean, Man in the Mirror and many, many more.

Derby LIVE are also delighted to announce the return of The Dreamboys in 2020. The ever-popular high-octane variety show is set to get pulses racing once more at Derby Arena on Sat 11 July 2020. The Dreamboys are without a shadow of a doubt the UK's most famous and successful show of its kind in history. Their breath-taking show spectacular has been perfectly created for hen nights, birthday parties and nights out with all your friends.
