If Carlsberg did comedy... they would choose DC Comedy Club!
DC Comedy Club, which is held every month at The Derby Conference Centre, is proud to announce they have secured a headline sponsor from Carlsberg. The club which launched in February brings an affordable comedy night to Derby and has been a roaring success so far with both shows selling out.
The Derby Conference Centre is a versatile venue which hosts a variety of spaces for conferences, weddings, corporate events and have their own on-site hotel ‘Portland House.’ DC Comedy Club can host a capacity of 300 people, which get to see a different line up of comedians perform every month alongside their resident host Chris Purchase.
The Carlsberg sponsorship is a big deal for the comedy club. Matthew Hutchings, the Managing Director of The Derby Conference Centre has said: “We’re very excited to have Carlsberg on board. It’s a great reward for the hard work we’ve put into building DC Comedy Club here at the Conference Centre. We hope it’ll help us bring in more people to enjoy the great comedy we are putting on every month.”
The next two events being held on Saturday 27th April and Saturday 18th May will showcase the new sponsor and offer the new Danish Pilsner by Carlsberg as one of the selected drinks in their happy hour promotion.
