FORMAT19: Conference Tickets on sale

FORMAT19 is delighted to be working with the University of Derby in presenting the FORMAT19: Conference.

An interdisciplinary event based on the FORMAT19 festival theme Forever//Now, this one day conference will present papers across three parallel strands involving presentations from over thirty international artists and researchers, high profile keynote and special guests.

Keynote and special guest speakers include:

Martin Barnes, Senior curator at the V&A discussing the Maurice Broomfield exhibition; Edgar Martins, artist, part of the lead festival exhibition Mutable.Multiple; Skinder Hundal & Ekow Eshun, curators in conversation; Anne Braybon and Craig Easton, artistic directors of SIXTEEN, a project about 16 year teenagers living in the UK and W. M. Hunt, photography collector, writer and curator of Quinn on show at the Crich Tramway Village.

The FORMAT19 conference is supported and organised by D-MARC, the Digital and Material Arts Research Centre, University of Derby.

The Welcome Address will be given by Professor Keith McLay, Pro-vice Chancellor and Dean of the College of Arts, Humanities & Education.
