Erewash Festival of Light is back for 2022

Join the celebrations of Erewash Festival of Light at Erewash Museum and help shine a spotlight on the importance of light across different cultures.

Arts Development invite families of all ages to Shine a Light at this free event for Erewash Festival of Light. Join in the fun for an afternoon of dance, music and artists workshops. Or why not make a lantern and join the light procession in the evening!

Featuring:

• 2pm-4pm - Free workshops crafts and lantern making (no booking required).
• 4.30pm - Dance performance.
• 5pm – Magical finale a short lantern procession from Erewash Museum to Market square.

Bring your own lanterns or make one with us, and come and see the awesome animal lanterns, made by Erewash Schools in years past. Also new lanterns made by young people at Parkside High and Dallimore Primary School (no glass or real flames).
