There is only ONE WEEK left to take advantage of the Early Bird discounted application offer for the FORMAT19 Open Call. Please send us work that considers the endless moment of FOREVER, from the archive to the most contemporary and conceptual projects. We are looking for all kinds of projects including long term researched documentary; multimedia; VR; moving image; installation; publications; web-based; interactive; performance; participatory; mobile; interactive; and conceptual.

We are receiving open call submissions from far and wide; from Japan in the east, to Argentina and back across the Atlantic Ocean via Ireland. The FORMAT team are thrilled to see such diverse responses and interpretations of the festival theme FOREVER//NOW.

All selected entries will be given the opportunity to exhibit at FORMAT19, a festival bursary and the chance to receive one of the following festival awards.
FORMAT19 Award £2000
Spectrum Imaging Award worth £1000 in printing services & and mentoring
Spectrum Imaging print awards
The Royal Photographic Society Award of £500
The Photography Show Award of £500
Chinese Photographers Magazine Feature Award and $500
Genesis and Fuji Award £1000 for print and framing services
ARCHIVO Platform Feature Award
All applicants will receive the opportunity to be featured on the FORMAT Festival curated Instagram feed. To follow the open call please see @formatfestival
