Dirty Dancing Date at Iconic Roundhouse
The Roundhouse Events team based at the historic Roundhouse, Pride Park, are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the ‘Dirty Dancing’ film release, which has been a firm favourite with generations of movie fans.
This Autumn is the first time the beautiful Roundhouse will be turned into an indoor cinema on Saturday October 14, giving guests a chance to cosy up inside the historic building and enjoy a cinematic experience like no other.
Doors open at 6pm when visitors will be welcomed with a complementary drink on arrival, and will have chance to purchase delicious American-style food and Dirty Dancing themed cocktails ahead of the film’s start at 7pm and again during the interval.
Roundhouse Events Manager Katie Holifield explained: “Dirty Dancing is such an iconic film with people of all ages that we wanted to celebrate its 30th anniversary by organising a special screening in the fantastic surroundings of the Roundhouse.
“This venue is perfect for such an event with space for everyone to sit and enjoy the film in comfort and no doubt to have a dance as well to the fantastic film score!”
