Derbyshire Artist Launches the Happy Secret Postcard Show In Aid of Mental Health

A Derbyshire artist affiliated with Banks Mill Studios has launched the Happy Secret Postcard Show. It's a project set up by artist Mandy Kay to help raise funds to donate boxes of arts and crafts materials to children and adults who are suffering with their mental health via https://www.instagram.com/myhappyartbox/ and the Happy Secret Postcard Show is the first project planned under this initiative.

Mandy lives with OCD and understands the importance of creativity for the maintenance of good mental health and so this is a project that is close to her heart. She is asking for artists using any genre to submit A6 sized works of art. The theme is happy, so let your imaginations run wild.

All the submitted work will be sold for £15 each, which will pay for one Happy Art Box, that will contain all the art essentials for decorating the box and plenty of ideas for exciting crafty projects. The people who receive these is anyone who would really benefit from some creative time out.

Please submit your work keeping the artwork on front anonymous, though you can sign and print your name on the back to indicate the artist.
