Creative writing workshop with award-winning author Emma Pass

Through a series of short, fun writing exercises, Emma will take you through the building blocks to create your own stories, looking at characters, settings, how to get ideas and how to beat the dreaded writer’s block.
Emma Pass has had two novels, ACID and The Fearless, published by Penguin Random House. Both were nominated for the CILIP Carnegie Medal. She has been running regular creative writing workshops since 2010 in schools, libraries, universities and community settings. These are aimed at writers from all backgrounds and of all ability levels. Having witnessed firsthand the difference having a creative outlet can make to people’s lives, she believes it is vital to basic wellbeing, and that the arts should be accessible to everyone.
