Dance4’s CAT is the Centre for Advanced Training which provides access to world-class training opportunities and spaces for young people aged between 11-18 years with exceptional potential in dance. The scheme is funded by the Department for Education and they welcome applications from anyone with a passion for dance. From February 14^th Derby Museums is inviting people to explore the making process and artistic progression of both modernist sculptor Ronald Pope and seven artists who have all won the Jonathan Vickers Fine Art Award and worked in Derbyshire to create work inspired by its landscape and people through two new linked exhibitions – Process and Progress.

Local voluntary and community sector groups in Derbyshire are being asked to help shape their future funding arrangements during a 12 week consultation.

Derby’s growing taste for delicious doughnuts is helping a city company expand across the region after its tasty treats were enjoyed by Love Island contestants, fashionistas and even members of the Royal family.

Project D, whose bright pink flagship outlet is based in the Intu Centre, says they have sold more of their handcrafted doughnuts than they could ever have imagined in the first 12 months of trading - serving an incredible 100 doughnuts every hour in December.

The Spring show is taking place on 12th March at the Derby Conference Centre and bookings for exhibitors and delegates are now live on the event site.

The event is one of the areas largest BtoB exhibitions for the private sector and will now feature a great line-up of over 40 exhibitors and 8 different Seminars/workshops that are free to attend as a delegate
