Derventio's Growing Lives project runs activities to improve skills, confidence and health. Come to the Christmas Bazaar to find out more about the project, eat and drink some tasty treats and buy hand crafted items made by participants.

All the money raised will go back to Growing Lives helping us to continue to deliver this essential project in Derbyshire. 

Festive Family Entertainment In Derby Cathedral Quarter

Lovable children’s character Peppa Pig will make a guest appearance in Derby Cathedral Quarter on Saturday December 7 as part of the Business Improvement District’s packed programme of free festive street entertainment.

Peppa Pig will be making appearances at intervals between 11am and 3pm at 2, The Strand – with families encouraged to bring their camera for the chance of a snap with Peppa Pig.

The Cathedral Quarter BID has also organised a programme of free family-friendly street entertainment every Saturday throughout December.

Live Entertainment Adds To Festive Cheer in St Peters Quarter

The busy streets of Derby’s St Peters Quarter will be filled with music, dance and entertainment on what is set to be the busiest shopping Saturdays in the run up to Christmas – thanks to a special programme devised by St Peters Quarter Business Improvement District (BID).

On December 14 and 21, acts including Derby Concert Band, Nottingham Tuneless Choir, singer Rebecca Jayne, UC Dance and La Di Dah will perform on the SPQ Live stage at St Peter’s Cross between 11am and 3pm.
