Carsington & Hopton Welcome All to Their Traditional Village Fete on Saturday 16th July from 2.00pm

St. Margaret’s Church and CARE are once again celebrating summer with their traditional Fete held on Carsington Village Green on Saturday 16th July from 2.00pm through to the evening.

The day is jam packed with stalls including a tombola, tuck shop, plant stall, splat-the rat, coconut shy and face painting to name a few. Teas and coffees will be served in St. Margaret’s Church with a delicious selection of cakes available to eat and take away. A licensed bar and BBQ are also available on the Green.

At 4.00pm the Raffle and prizes from the Children’s Cake and Art competition will be announced. Musical entertainment will be available with live music from local bands at 6.00pm when the BBQ and bar will be in full swing.
Held by the Church and CARE, a local charitable organisation, funds are split and go towards supporting the activities of both organisations in 2016.

All are welcome to come along and enjoy the day’s events.
