Call for Entries: Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair

APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN FOR GNCCF MANCHESTER, GNCCF SHEFFIELD & GNCCF NEWCASTLE

The GREAT NORTHERN CONTEMPORARY CRAFT FAIRS are premier curated selling fairs in the North of England, showcasing the very best of contemporary craft from professional designer-makers and attracting a discerning audience of buyers and collectors.

2020 will see the launch of a new fair GNCCF Newcastle from 30-31 May in partnership with the Baltic; GNCCF Sheffield returns to the city’s Millennium Gallery 18-19 July and the flagship GNCCF Manchester takes place 8-11 October at Upper Campfield Market Hall.

Applications are now invited from both established, new and recent graduate designers, makers and artists working in ceramics, glass, jewellery, metal, wood, interior textiles, fashion design & accessories, mixed media, basket-making, product design, furniture, print-making and more. We have  range of affordable stand packages including subsidised stands for new and emerging makers.

We are also looking for mid-career makers who are exploring new techniques to produce a new body of work  and may be interested in exhibiting work in progress in our “Discuss” showcase at GNCCF Manchester; the idea that they can talk about their practice, developmental and experimental work and get feedback from craft professionals and visitors to the GNCCF.  This space is complimentary but any work sold will be subject to a small commission.

For all our stands, we welcome applications from both UK and international artists.

"Great exposure in the North. The GNCCF is on a par with the London shows."

Applications open 1st Feb and close 8th March 2020. For further details, application guidelines and to apply on line please visit www.greatnorthernevents.co.uk
