Buxton Opera House Voted 'The Most Welcoming Theatre in the East Midlands

We are delighted to be able to announce that Buxton Opera House has been voted as

the 'Most Welcoming Theatre in the East Midlands' in the My

Theatre Matters! Most Welcoming Theatre Award.

Jenny Mather Press and Business Development Officer said;

'This is a tribute to the tremendous work of our front of house and

sales staff, and in particular to the dedication of our volunteers who

contribute so generously to our customers' experience.

We enjoy an extraordinary level of community support and are

very grateful to our loyal audience members, local businesses and

partner organisations who voted for us and showed that our theatres

matter.
