Building a Model for Sustainable Practise in Creativity and Mental Health

The new Culture, Health & Wellbeing Alliance report Building a model for sustainable practice in creativity and mental health is the result of a six-month project funded by the Baring Foundation, working with around 150 practitioners to understand how they might help more people and organisations using creativity to support mental health to thrive. At the heart of the report are a series of recommendations for five groups: practitioners, commissioning organisations (whether arts, health or care), funders, researchers and infrastructure organisations. Read the recommendations here.

Thank you to everyone who helped get the word out about this when it was a work in progress; we had a fantastic response to the initial survey.

Please do send us any thoughts or comments, and if you’re able to share this with your networks we would appreciate it! We hope this will be an important step forward in understanding creative health and setting baseline recommendations for progress. (Thank you to those of you who’ve already picked this up on social media and shared it! You can retweet here if you like)
