The Bogtastic van heading out across the Derbyshire Peak District

The Moors for the Future Partnership’s Bogtastic van is gearing up for a busy year ahead, as a calendar is drawn up for it to appear at shows, events, conferences and fun days.

The Bogtastic van is aimed at inspiring members of the public about the Derbyshire Peak District’s moorland landscape, including iconic places such as Kinder Scout, Bleaklow and Black Hill.

People will be able to step inside and be transported onto the moors with a special audio-visual experience incorporating photos, videos and sounds. They’ll experience the feeling of walking on the moors with the unique wobbly bog floor, and even smell some moorland scents!

We are particularly looking for mid-week events during the school holidays, to reach children, parents and grandparents!
