Blazing a trail

Bondholder Derby Museums is inviting artists from across Derbyshire and beyond to submit their designs for the Derby Ram Trail, a unique public art event that will take place in the city centre next summer.

The Trail will see 30, five-foot ram sculptures threaded across the city in a free-to-view art event that will raise valuable funds for Derby Museums through sponsorship and auction. Marketing Derby is proud to be a Derby Ram Trail sponsor. 

Tony Butler, Executive Director at Derby Museums, said: "We are looking for original designs that are bright, colourful and full of fun and flourish for this family-friendly art event. We welcome both new and established artists. Anyone from the creative community can submit a design. We look forward to receiving a wide variety of creative submissions over the coming weeks.”
