Belper Games raises a staggering £30,000!

For the first time the event was split over a two day weekend event, and kicked off with a free film night on the Friday night.

It wasn’t easy to take an already successful event and add a whole extra day but we knew you good people of Belper wouldn’t let us down and we’re thrilled to have made even more money for the small charities we support. We are thrilled to announce that the Belper Games Weekender raised a phenomenal £30,000!

We want to thank all the volunteers, stall holders, traders, food vendors, amusement providers, the Rugby Club and most of all the good people of Belper for helping make this event such a success. You almost drank the bars dry and we hope you had as much fun as we did.

Set up 5 years ago to raise funds for Penny’s Fund, a local charity which provides funding for three charities, Ataxia UK, The Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust, and Scleroderma and Raynauds UK, the Games is now a fond and eagerly anticipated event in the Belper calendar. Penny’s Fund is a key fund raiser for these smaller charities and this makes the Games just that little bit more special.

We hope you’ll all come back for more next year!
