My work is said to be contemporary with traditional accents – bold and often lends itself to statement.
"I have a jewellery workshop with views looking out onto the beautiful Derbyshire countryside which offers an infinite source of inspiration for my work, as do my travels and walks on beaches with my family. I like nothing better than losing myself for days at the bench using traditional making skills."
Over February we will be running jewellery classes with jeweller and local councillor Jane Orton on ZOOM. Jane Orton will be leading our beading and wirework sessions on 2nd and 9th February.
Our course continued in Jan with Nicki Dennett's printmaking classes. The group learned vegetable printing and embossing onto fabric with foils.
