A Conference And Exhibition On Wellbeing, Mental Health And Suicide Prevention In The VCSE Sector

Please join us for the first, FREE annual,, Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VSCE) sector conference and exhibition focussing on Wellbeing, Mental Health and Suicide Prevention within the VSCE sector.

The evening event will be opened by Derbyshire's Lucy Gell, Fabricator on Tim Burton' film 'Mars Attacks' and Animator on children's television programmes such as Noddy, Postman Pat, Bob the Builder and Andy Pandy!

 

You will have the opportunity to see other creative works by such artists like:

  • Jo Litchfield, modelmaker, writer and illustrator of over 100 book titles.
  • Juliette Koch whose work highlights vital social causes such as male suicide prevention, sexual health education, and support for survivors of sexual assault.
  • Sara Brighty will showcase work drawn on paper towels whilst in a hospital.

The conference day will be filled with exciting and inspirational speakers such as:

  • Sharon Bull, creator of 'The Power of YOU Wellbeing & Empowerment Workshop'.
  • Thomas Dunn, assistant director of pubic health in Derbyshire.
  • Paul Gowney, chief executive officer for Caring Connections.
  • Saied Shahsavari, recognised author with 40 years' experience of working on the physical and mental spectrum, from musculoskeletal problems to anxiety, stress, depression, anger and fear.
  • Dr Melanie Hani whose internationally published and exhibited work was commended by the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh at Buckingham Palace, in recognition of her significant contribution to national life.
