On Sunday, September 27th Accessible Derbyshire will be holding a fantastic event for disabled children and their families at Lea Green Outdoor Activity Centre near Matlock.

Accessible Derbyshire is a registered charity (charities number 1155675) launched in February 2014 by Gillian Scotford and Jane Carver - two Derbyshire mums with 6 children between them, three of whom are disabled. Gillian and Jane know first-hand how challenging life for disabled people and their families can be and they wanted to do something about it.

The aim of the unique charity is to improve the lives of disabled people, their families and carers living in or visiting Derbyshire and the Peak District.

Special thanks to Network Rail and their Framework Partners have raised an incredible £11,000 to put on the event.
