‘Come On In’ to Matlock Market Hall in Fairtrade Fortnight on March 9th

Matlock’s Market Hall is going to play host to the first nightmarket in the Town on March 9th thanks to a partnership between Hecate Arts, Matlock Fairtrade Group and Derby-shire Dales District Council.
The event, on the final weekend of Fairtrade Fortnight will feature schools and perform-ers being invited to share their work and ideas about living in a fairer world alongside Fairtrade, ethical and local producers.
Artistic director Sarah Bradnock said:
’We wanted to do something new and unusual to encourage schools and families to get involved with Fairtrade Fortnight, and we love working in the Market Hall, we know everyone in Matlock is looking forward to supporting its use and we ap-preciate the continued support of Derbyshire Dales District Council in making it happen. We’ve got a few great surprises in store and we are really looking for-ward to the event’
