MEMBER: Nottingham Trent University

The Food and Drink Hub at Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is part of the Enabling Innovation programme. The hub is a specialised business support programme dedicated to small and medium sized food and drink businesses in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
The hub can offer the following specialised services, free of charge, and exclusively for the local food
and drink industry:

• expert-led workshops,
• packaging advice and facility set-up guidance,
• dedicated technical support for product development,
• laboratories for analysis and research, and;
• pilot scale food processing hall and development kitchen.

The Food and Drink Hub is part of the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences at NTU, an accredited member of the Institute of Food Science and Technology and of the National Skills Academy for Food and Drink.

The Food and Drink Hub is one of eight hubs of activity within the Enabling Innovation programme.
Nottingham Trent University has been granted £3.8m from the European Regional Development Fund.
The funds will help us to offer business support to over 600 small and medium businesses in Derbyshire
and Nottinghamshire.

We can provide your business with the talent, skills and innovation support to grow, commercialise ideas,
and develop new and improved products and services. It’s easy to work with us, and to access the
practical support, knowledge and resources we offer. We offer free workshops and events in a wide range
of business areas, both specific to certain sectors and relevant to a broad range of SMEs.
