The photography of Natasha Braithwaite is inspired by the way the fall of light picks out the tones, textures and contrasts inherent in the landscape. Natasha works only with black and white film and she handprints all of her photographs in a wet darkroom utilising traditional techniques and materials. Natasha has chosen to work with film and traditional photographic papers because it is an exciting and sometimes unpredictable medium to work with and the processes utilised can be highly creative in their nature.
