Swanwick based artist Martin Davis produces a wide range of contemporary artwork from his home studio. Examples of his landscapes, figures and portraits can be found in local galleries and his work is in demand by private collectors around the world.
Inspired by his love of form and the effects of light his art can combine the purely representational with elements of the abstract/surreal as he uses a natural sense of colour to produce his visually arresting works.
His belief is that art, like music, can nurture a sense of wellbeing and be a simple, joyful experience as well as a vehicle for asking fundamental questions about human life.
