Detta produces high-quality, Irish inspired designs for textiles.

Handmade in Derby in the UK, the Detta brand was founded by Dublin-born managing director and textile designer Berni Raeside BA (Hons).

Detta Blankets and Cushions are handmade on vintage manual handflat knitting machines in 100% wool. Most of Detta's products are constructed using lambswool but some products also include Shetland and Aran to reflect the different celtic influences of the designers. Each piece is handmade in Derby in the Detta Studio.

Each blanket is carefully handmade and boxed and comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity, so that when looked after properly they can be handed down as an heirloom, just like the Aran jumpers that inspired them.

Detta also produces knit inspired designs for digital printing onto fabrics and wallpapers.
