In this workshop, you will be introduced to the aromatic world of aromatherapy. We will explore some of the most useful essential oils, looking at their historical and contemporary uses, their botanical characteristics and how we can make use of them to enhance our health and wellbeing.

We will use our hands and noses to explore what we like and why we like them. You will be introduced to carrier oils, and we will explore how they can be used to deliver essential oils through our skin and into our body. You will also have the opportunity to learn how to give a hand and arm massage (and receive one!).

At the end of the day, you will have learned:

- What essential oils are and how we obtain them;

- How to use them safely in the home to enhance health and wellbeing;

- How to combine them with a carrier oil to make a massage oil;

- How to perform a selection of massage movements

- How to give a hand and arm massage

You will also receive:

- A certificate of attendance;

- Your own 30ml bottles of home-made massage oil, in 2 different blends;

- A complimentary Purely Skincare apron.
