Battle Reenactment
Annual battle at the southernmost point of the Jacobite campaign.
The Jacobite and Loyalist troops will battle it out for control of the vital river crossing. After a spectacular skirmish, wreaths will be laid at the cairn to commemorate the brave men who fought on both sides. The camp will be open from 11.30am, in the garden of the Crewe and Harpur public house, Swarkestone, and the battle will begin at 12 noon.
