• Fleet First Friday: Friday 3rd May 7pm – 8.30pm
Open mic for musicians under 19. £2 over 18/£1 under 18/Family £4/Performers free

• Board Games Day: Saturday 4th May 10am – 6pm
Derby Games & Belpers’ Distant Gaming will be taking over our hall with a wide choice of many board games – some lasting hours and others just minutes! Take your pick and try out new ones or enjoy some classic favourites. All ages welcome (including adults on their own) to join in with a group or to just sit with one other. Stay as long or as little as you like…or pop in and out throughout…anything goes!

• Belper Arts Trail: Sunday 5th & Monday 6th May 10.30am – 4.30pm
Our whole venue will be open offering open studios, vinyl records, live art, textile have-a-go, on-the-spot limericks, cakes/plants/books for sale, Lego workshop, venue group taster sessions, vegan snacks, studio art exhibition, ‘Delicut’ art for sale, (see our website & Belper Arts Trail for more information). Our ‘Turn it Up’ music programme/Coordinator will also be running the stage in the Memorial gardens in collaboration with Graham Marriott. All activities free but donations welcomed

• Give Guitar-a-Go taster sessions: Tuesday 7th, 14th, 21st May 7.30pm – 8.30pm
An informal beginners guitar circle…some guitars available or bring your own. This 3 week taster is half price at just £2 per class (£6 in total)!

• Word Peace: Thursday 9th May 8pm – 10pm
Spoken word/Poetry night with invited performers plus an open mic to try out your own work. £3 on the door

• Sing for Spring: Sunday 11th May 1pm – 5pm
Come and sing some glorious harmony songs from around the world with the superb Molares. With her warm and light-hearted teaching style…this is not to be missed. £10 advance booking advised.

• Dementia Awareness week – creative activities: Wednesday 15th May 1pm – 3pm (Nailers Football Club)
As part of an afternoon of activities/stalls for ‘Dementia Awareness Week’, Fleet Arts will be providing dance and craft sessions. Free

• Lyrical Lunch: Thursday 16th May 11.30am – 2pm
A two-course meal with live music aimed at over 60’s! Pre-booking essential £10 per person (transport available upon request)

• Woollen Woods ‘Felt-a-tree blue’: Thursday 16th May 11am – 1pm (Early Years Centre/Belper Parks)
Join the Blue Box Craft Club felting a tree trunk different shades of blue as part of the brilliant ‘Woollen Woods’ in Belper Parks to highlight their charity/cause. Free

• FeelGood Friday: Friday 17th May, 7pm – 8.30pm
As part of our popular creative well-being programme (started at Belper Arts Festival last year), we have a rare opportunity to experience a talk/demonstration by Ange Leake, one of the leading Transformational Breathwork specialists in the world. Suitable for adults/accompanied teenagers £5 advance booking advised.

• Willow sculpture day: Saturday 18th May 10am – 4pm
Join one of our talented, professional studio artists, Emma Parkin to spend a day learning the art of willow and creating your own pheasant. £50 advanced booking required

• Carouse & Create: Saturday 18th May 8pm – 10pm
Following on from our very popular ‘Drink & Draw’ last year…Get your creative juices flowing with some varied art team challenges led by Tan Draig (O.B.E)…no previous experience necessary just a sense of fun! Come on your own or in a group and bring your own refreshments. Suitable for adults only £5 advance booking advised.

• Chorus Theatre family show: Saturday 25th May 2.30pm – 4pm
Bring the whole family down to enjoy a one-off performance of ‘Peter Pan’ .Advanced booking advised
