Beginners Furniture Painting Workshop using Fusion Mineral Paint and Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint.

The beginners workshop will teach you everything to get you started with furniture painting. This workshop is suitable for beginners and those wanting to refine their technique using different finishes.

The paints we use are Fusion Mineral Paint and Miss Mustard Seeds Milk Paint.

You will learn how to apply the paints to get the best results, preparation necessary and lots of helpul tips along the way! We will will cover two colour distressing and how to use the wax and sealant to protect your paint and also use of the coloured waxes.

The workshop will also teach you how to mix milk paint, and how to apply it, we will also use the hemp oil and waxes.

The workshop runs from 11.00am to 2.30pm (lunch included 12.30pm to 1.00pm) and costs £60.00. It will be held in our dedicated paint studio in Wirksworth. Tuition is given by Lee and the class sizes are kept small to optimise your learning experience.

Everything is provided including aprons, tea, coffee and cake!

The workshop will give you the tools to make your painted furniture stand out from the crowd and hopefully inspire you to practice and experiment so that you will go away and create beautiful pieces.
